FAQ
The environment and set-up process of the EasySet pool greatly influences its stability during filling and use. There are several things you should take into consideration when assembling your pool. You can see some of them below:
Prior to filling the pool
Solid and flat surface
- Make sure that the site where you intend to place the pool is flat, not tilted and provides enough space around the pool.
- To avoid potentially damaging the pool, remove all stones, twigs and other sharp objects.
- Place the pool on a solid surface such as garden tiles to prevent the pool from sinking into the ground.
Pool mat
To avoid damaging the bottom of the pool, always place the pool on a mat. Most pools have the pad included. If not, you can place any fabric sheet under the pool.
Placing the pool liner
- At least two people should set up the EasySet pool
- Lay out the liner so that it is exactly in the centre of the mat and there is even amount of space around the edges
- Do not drag the pool across the ground to avoid damaging it
- The pool bottom should be as flat as possible – you can eliminate the folds in the bottom of the liner by pushing them away from the centre of the pool towards the outer edge. You should do this barefoot.
During the filling of the pool
Inflatable ring
- Make sure that the inflatable ring is on the outside of the pool liner and that it is straightened. You can now inflate the ring.
- Inflate the ring with a hand pump only. Never use a compressor.
- Avoid over-inflating the inflatable ring. The air inside the ring expands when exposed to sun/heat and can stretch the material to the point where the ring can deform or burst.
Filling the pool with water
- Before filling, ensure that the drain valve is properly closed on the inside and outside of the pool liner.
- Fill the pool to 3 cm. Then check for leaks or significant difference in the water level at one end of the pool or the other. If none of the issues is present, proceed to completely filling up the pool with water.
- The pool liner automatically straightens as the water level rises.
- The inflatable ring will position itself correctly as soon as there is enough water in the pool.
Possible consequences of incorrect set-up of the EasySet pool:
If the site is soft and sloped, the pool might tip over.
If the bends of the liner at the bottom are not straightened, the final shape of the pool might not be circular and the pool will become unstable.
The sun/heat expands the air inside the ring and the ring will stretch. Over-inflation of the inflatable ring can cause a bulge.
